Deluxe I/O (Sterndrive) Winterizing Packages
- Treat fuel with stabilizer and run engine for
approximately 20 min.
- Drain block, manifolds, and cooling system
- Run engine in antifreeze tank to fill engine cooling system
with
non-toxic marine antifreeze (-100°)
- Fog engine cylinders
- Change oil and filter
- Change water separating fuel filter (if applicable)
- Clean flame arrestor
- Pressure test drive for seal leaks
- Change outdrive gear oil
- Grease all fittings
- Check and top off all other fluids (excluding battery)
- Torque gimbal ring to swivel shaft bolts
(improves steering)
- Remove, inspect, and grease prop and shaft
